Alongside being the NFL's leader for receiving yards, and the third in total receptions, Gonzalez was one of the NFL tight end who had the most receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently working at the studio of FOX. Since the start of the 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez has been an integral part for FOX NFL KICKOFF, FOX's hour-long NFL pregame program that precedes FOX NFL SUNDAY, airing every Sunday at 11:15 AM ET during the NFL season.
Gonzalez was released by the Falcons on March 15 2013. He signed a contract that was worth $14 million over two years. He did this regardless of the fact that he had claimed that he was retiring at the close of the season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012 and Gonzalez (37 an age) spent last season as NFL's leading receiver.
